I will no longer be handing out floppy disks at the WINSIG. There are several factors involved in this decision: Windows programs are getting too large to put on a single floppy; newer computer systems don't ship with a floppy drive and, in the long run, it will save me some time and effort in preparing the disks and labels.
Starting with the April 2008 meeting , I will be posting a file on this page that either has direct links to suggested software applications, or the programs themselves.
I can't see re-inventing the wheel by downloading, ZIP'ing and uploading to this site large applications so you folks can download, unZIP and use. So I will most likely link to the bulk of the applications and they can be downloaded once, if you elect to check them out.
However, I will pick one, or more, of them to install on my notebook to bring them along to the WINSIG so you can see how they work.
